Emergency Dentist
A dental emergency is a problem that needs prompt evaluation because pain, infection, trauma, bleeding, or damage may worsen if care is delayed. You do not need to diagnose the problem before calling. Describe what happened, when symptoms started, and whether you have swelling, bleeding, fever, or an injury so the dental team can guide the next step.

Emergency Dental Care in Lakeville & Eden Prairie, MN
When unexpected dental pain, trauma, or a sudden injury strikes, you need fast, reliable care to protect your smile and relieve your discomfort. At Moss Dental, we provide prompt, compassionate emergency dental services to stabilize your oral health and get you back to feeling your best.
A dental emergency includes any situation involving severe, unrelenting pain, uncontrolled oral bleeding, facial swelling, trauma to the jaw, or a knocked-out (avulsed) permanent tooth. If you are experiencing a severe infection or a broken tooth that exposes the nerve, contact our office immediately for urgent guidance.
Yes. We reserve dedicated time in our daily schedule to accommodate urgent cases. If you call our studio with a dental emergency, our team will make every effort to see you on the same day to diagnose the problem, manage your pain, and provide immediate treatment.
Time is critical when dealing with a knocked-out tooth. Handle the tooth only by the crown (the chewing surface), never by the root. If it is dirty, gently rinse it with water without scrubbing or removing any attached tissue fragments. If possible, try to reinsert it gently into the socket. If you cannot, store it in a container of milk or clean water and bring it with you to our office immediately.
